Swan Planning Consultancy is a woman-owned planning firm founded by Heather Swan, a seasoned Plangineer (Planner + Engineer) with over 25 years of experience working alongside Indigenous communities, government bodies, and corporate clients across Canada. With a focus on reconciliation, Indigenous inclusion, and relationship-driven collaboration, the brand needed a visual identity that felt grounded, graceful, and meaningful.

Design Approach
The logo suite was built to echo Swan Planning’s core values: Respect, Relationship, Reciprocity, Responsibility, and Reconciliation. The swan—symbolic of transformation and harmony—was paired with gentle curves and nature-inspired lines to represent balance, water, and grounded movement. The resulting identity is approachable yet authoritative, modern yet timeless.
This identity now supports Swan Planning’s mission to advance inclusive, values-driven planning in partnership with Indigenous communities and institutions across Canada.
